Wonderful gift to give
I have given this as a gift twice. It has been the most successful gift I have found. In both cases the cube has been passed down to siblings. It is durable, attractive, light weight and fascinating to little ones.
music cube
This is just adorable and perfect for my music major daugters child. Also very durable. We all enjoy the variety of music and instuments.
Great idea, but out of tune!
This toy is very mesmerizing for my 11 month old daughter and it is very durable, but if you are trying to teach music through it, don't bother. The instruments sound okay (pretty close to the real sound for a toy), but they go flat and are not in tune together. I thought it was the batteries going dead, but when we replaced them, there was no difference. So unless you want to teach your child how to be tone-deaf, find another musical toy. If you are into music at all, this toy will drive you crazy with it's intonation problems.
